I really like commercials. In fact, I consider myself a commercial connoisseur, which means I hate most commercials.

My favorite series of the year has to be the Citibank Identity Theft ads. I love those, and they are balanced by my hate of the Citibank “Thank You” campaign, which is just stupid.

As far as sheer artistry goes, hats off to the HP Digital Photography campaign. Cool video tricks combined with the Kinks’ “Picture Book” – a song that stuck in my head so much I had to have a friend send it to me.

Maybe if I play it over and over again it’ll go away.
