Eat To Live – Week 2

It has been a couple of days shy of two weeks since I started my diet change, but for measuring progress I am going to choose, as much as possible, my weight on Friday morning. I figure if I’m going to slip, it’ll be on the weekend, so I should have the rest of the week to get on track.

This morning’s 3PS weight was 211.8.

Starting weight: 224.8
Current weight: 211.8
Total lost: 13.0
Last Week’s weight: 217.0
Weekly difference: -5.2

Not bad. I was excited to see myself under 212 and I’ll be even happier when it dips below 210 (and 200, and 190, etc.) It might be hard in the next couple of days since I ate out for lunch today and I plan to do it again tomorrow.

I had lunch with Phil, and it was as always enjoyable. We went to Spice Street since they have some veggie-friendly food, and I had the tomato-ginger soup and falafel. The falafel was just okay, Angelina’s was better, but Spice Street gets full marks for dessert.

I usually end a meal with a piece of fruit, so when our waiter Hacene offered us the usual tiramisu or cheesecake, I asked if he had fruit. He said he could put something together and he came back with this:

Fresh raspberries, huge blackberries, grapes, sliced pear and orange. It looked so good Phil ordered one as well.
