With the imminent release of “Return of the Sith”, it seems I’ve been inundated with Star Wars stuff of late. From the free Star Wars fan movie Revelations to Kevin Smith’s spoiler-laden review, to Darth Vader’s blog, Star Wars is popping up everywhere.
One of the guys who works in my building, Donnie, helps maintain the trouble ticketing system. Today he received via that system a Nigerian 419 scam e-mail. You’ve seen ’em:

SUZANA NUHAN VAYE %BARR.JAMES BRODERICK (ATTORNEY) ATTN: MD/CEO My Name is MRS.SUZANA NUHAN VAYE from Liberia, a Country in West Africa. My late Husband is Issac Nuhan Vaye, Deputy Minister of Public Works in Liberia. My Husband was falsely accused of plotting to remove the then PRESIDENT OF LIBERIA CHARLES TAYLOR) from office. Without trial, Charles Taylor killed him. Before my husband was killed, he moved out the sum of $21.5 million through a diplomatic means, and deposited it with a Security Company Abroad. And this money was meant for importation of agricultural machinery. All that is needed is for my lawyer to instruct the company to transfer the funds to your account, I will remunerate you with 20% at the end, but most of all is that I solicit your trust and honesty in this transaction.

Following the destructon of the rebel base on Yavin, my father, Chancellor Epador Argenteus transferred 10,000,000 credits to an unmarked account in the Coruscant's Citizen's First Empire Bank. Please to be forwarding *your* telephone number so we can make arrangements for you to claim the money. You will keep 10% for your troubles. This is NOT the "Kessel" scam you may have heard about. I am a legitimate businessman and representative of the good and gracious people of Corellia. Indeed, I am a highly respected personality in my system. Surely you sourced my profile from an interstellar being profile resource on the galactic web....
