My oldest friend, Ty, who I met in 7th grade, rarely leaves NYC for North Carolina, but when he does we like to get together at Sir Pizza (that link is not in NC but it was the only one I could find) and catch up.

Ty is the proud new owner of a Mac Powerbook and so I needed to introduce him to the ways of the Mac. He sent me the picture above, taken by his father I believe.

I often give computer help to friends and family (willingly and otherwise) and I usually enjoy it, but at times I really wish they could see my T-shirt (and if anyone cares, I could use a white one).

But today Ty got to pay me pack by editing an article I am writing, that may turn into a book. Perhaps by the time he comes back to town, the trade balance may have shifted more toward parity. For Ty’s sake, I hope not (grin).
